Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information EdReal collects on edreal.org, how we use it, and the choices you have. Last updated: July 26, 2026.

Who we are

EdReal is a brand of EdReal STEM LLC ("EdReal," "we," "us"). This policy applies to the website edreal.org. You can reach us at our contact page or admin@edreal.org.

Information we collect

We aim to collect only what we need. We collect:

  • Information you give us directly. When you submit the availability-updates form, we collect your email address, your setting (for example family, homeschool, co-op, microschool, school, or district), and your consent to receive updates. When you use the contact form, we collect your name, email, and any organization, role, program interest, and message you provide. If you indicate purchase interest, we record that intent signal.
  • Usage and device information. Like most websites, we automatically receive standard technical information such as your browser type, device, approximate location inferred from your IP address, pages viewed, and how you arrived at the site.
  • Marketing attribution. We store campaign parameters (UTMs) and the referring page in your browser's local storage so we can understand which channels bring people to EdReal. We do not place personal identifiers such as your name or email into these parameters.

How we use your information

  • To send the availability updates and information you asked for, with your consent.
  • To respond to your contact or group inquiry and follow up about your interest.
  • To operate, secure, and improve the site and our programs.
  • To understand, in aggregate, which content and channels are useful, so we can improve them.

We do not sell your personal information.

Analytics and services we rely on

We use a small number of trusted service providers to run the site:

  • Google Analytics 4 for aggregate, privacy-conscious traffic and event measurement.
  • Our hosting and database providers to serve the site and securely store form submissions.
  • Our email/newsletter provider to send updates you have consented to receive.

These providers process information on our behalf under their own terms and safeguards.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use a limited set of cookies and local storage for site functionality and analytics as described above. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Where required by law, we honor applicable consent and opt-out signals.

Children's privacy

EdReal's website and marketing are directed to parents, guardians, and educators — not to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this site. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Your choices and rights

  • You can unsubscribe from EdReal emails at any time using the link in any message.
  • You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you.
  • Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the CCPA/CPRA or GDPR.

To make a request, contact us.

Data retention and security

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, and we use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as EdReal grows and as our practices or the law change. We will revise the "Last updated" date above when we do.
